FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Mark Peters - April 17th, 2008West Midlands EventPress Release 20 March 2008 The Coaching Foundation West Midlands are pleased to announce the following evening workshop COACHING FOR THE MIND AND BODY - an evening workshop 4.30pm – 8.00pm Thursday 17th April 2008, Liveridge House, Henley in Arden, Warwickshire (J16 of M40) Through a ‘balanced approach’ to mind and body, we can lift coaching to a new level; one that is more effective and can create both rapid and lasting change. The approach requires an understanding of beliefs and values, as well as posture and movement. Through movement and physical activity the creative right side of the brain is activated, aiding the release of endomorphins (the body’s natural feel good chemical) and the creation of kinesthetic and spatial anchors. During this interactive workshop, Mark will help us to explore:
• how the memories and feelings that limit us moving forward, or overcoming habits and addictions, are stored • the concept of emotion (through energy + motion), and the impact of posture and movement • what 'getting yourself in a state' means and how to take control back • mindfulness • walking your timeline
Mark Peters is a qualified NLP master practitioner (Society of NLP) and clinical Hypnotherapist (British Society for Medical & Dental Hypnosis). He has a background in operational management and management of change. A teacher of tai chi for the last 20 years, he now combines this with NLP, hypnosis and Alexander technique in order to provide a ‘balanced approach’ to mind and body. His company, Balanced Approach, focuses on providing a holistic service, working with both local companies and national organizations. Web: www.balancedapproach.co.uk
