Profile:  

John is a skilled international executive coach who specialises in equipping consultants and senior executives with presentation, facilitation and communication skills. He has also created and run courses in Team Building, Leadership Skills, Impact and Influence. He runs specialised courses for groups as well as undertaking individual coaching with Senior Executives.

His background in drama training, theatre, musicals and opera enables him to equip clients with the most effective communication skills they require for the situations and audiences they face.

 He has worked with senior executives across diverse industries and his client list takes in both the public and private sector: Ministry of Defence, Man Financial, Fresenius, Budgens, Thus PLC, Kingfisher PLC, Yukos Oil, CNN/Turner Broadcasting, MFI, Walt Disney Television, PA Consulting and several Local Authorities.

 He runs regular courses in Presentation and Facilitation with BT, Kurt Salmon Associates and Mouchel Consulting. He has run Team Building and Leadership workshops for Smith & Nephew and Portsmouth City Council. John has also devised and run presentation and communication courses for the MBA courses offered by Universities of Edinburgh, Bournemouth and Keele.

He has also trained officers of the Lothian and Borders Police to deliver Diversity Awareness training. 

In addition to his own client list John is an associate trainer with Whitmuir Consulting, Hedra, CIFT, Spearflex, JSB Associates and QA Training.  

John has a parallel career as an opera and theatre director and is currently directing a production of MARIA DE BUENOS AIRES, a Tango Musical by the great Argentinean composer Astor Piazzolla which will tour five British Festivals before a run at the Royal Opera House and 2005 revival in Paris. He runs masterclasses for international opera singers at the De Vive Voix Festival in Poitieres.
